Herizons Magazine Feminist Comic Contest

Herizons Magazine has been Canada’s foremost feminist magazine since 1992. Herizons publishes on art, culture, and legal/political/community affairs. With a focus on anti-oppression, topics are related to gender, race, sexuality, ability, and other identity markers that intersect and shape our lived experiences. Herizons is published quarterly in Winnipeg on Treaty 1 territory and is distributed across the country.

Herizons Magazine is currently running a Feminist Comic Contest until October 31, 2025. One winner will receive $600 CAD. Their work will be published online and in print in a winter 2026 feature in Herizons. Honourable mentions will receive $150 CAD and their work will be published in print.
